Bell Media Promotes Nanci MacLean and Justin Stockman

TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2014 /CNW/ - Phil King, President, CTV, Sports, and Entertainment Programming announced today that Nanci MacLean and Justin Stockman have been promoted to Vice-President, Bell Media Production and Vice-President, Specialty Channels, respectively. The appointments come following the departure of Rick Brace, President, Specialty Channels and CTV Production, late last year. MacLean and Stockman will continue to report to Catherine MacLeod, Senior Vice-President, Specialty Channels and Bell Media Production as part of her senior management team. The appointments are effective immediately.

As Vice-President, Bell Media Production, MacLean will continue to lead the company's in-house production team for all entertainment programming across Bell Media's portfolio of conventional and specialty channels, including The Movie Network. She recently led the successful launch of daytime talk series THE SOCIAL (CTV) and continues to oversee Canada's #1 entertainment program ETALK (CTV), daytime series THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW (CTV), INNERSPACE (Space), MOVIE NIGHT (E!), and more. MacLean has been with the company since 2000.
In his new role as Vice-President, Specialty Channels, Stockman will oversee the day-to-day operational and strategic management of Bell Media's portfolio of Entertainment Specialty brands, including The Movie Network. He will also work with senior management to drive new revenue opportunities and expand efficiencies across the company. Stockman has been with Bell Media for more than a decade in various roles, including Executive Director, Music and Entertainment Channels; Executive Director, Marketing, Specialty Channels; and Creative Director, MuchMusic. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with Specialized Honours in Visual Arts Studio from York University, as well as an MBA from a joint program between Cornell University in New York and Queen's University in Kingston.
