MONTREAL, Nov. 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell today announced a donation of $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross as part of a relief effort to help those in the Philippines impacted by Typhoon Haiyan, one of the strongest storms ever recorded.
Bell applauds the federal government for matching donations by individual Canadians to registered Canadian charities supporting relief efforts in the region. Note that all mobile phone users can donate $5 to the Red Cross in support of Typhoon Haiyan relief simply by texting REDCROSS or ROUGE to 30333.
