Belen MainStreet to Receive Partnership Grant

BELEN, N.M., Nov. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Belen MainStreet Partnership will be presented with a $12,000 grant from Wells Fargo and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas), Monday, November 24, 2014.
Belen MainStreet Partnership says the grant will help cover operational expenses. State Representatives Don Tripp, R-New Mexico, and Kelly Fajardo, R-New Mexico, as well as Belen Mayor Jerah Cordova and other local officials, will be joined by representatives from Wells Fargo and FHLB Dallas for the official check presentations.
"I'm thankful for Wells Fargo's continuing commitment to Belen. With this grant from Wells Fargo and FHLB Dallas, we can work toward stronger economic revitalization in downtown Belen," said Mayor Cordova.
Wells Fargo is a member of FHLB Dallas, and participates in its Partnership Grant Program (PGP). FHLB Dallas has awarded $225,000 in PGP grants this year.
