Belden to Participate in Three Upcoming Investor Conferences

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC), a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission critical applications, today indicated that it will participate in several upcoming investor conferences.  Specifics regarding each conference are as follows:

• Morgan Keegan's 2011 Industrial/Transportation Conference being held in Chicago.  Belden will present at 9:35 a.m. Eastern on Sept. 13 and this event will be webcast.
• C.L. King's 9th Annual Best Ideas Conference being held in New York.  Belden will present at 10:45 a.m. Eastern on Sept. 14 and this event will not be webcast.
• Longbow Research's Industrial Manufacturing & Technology Conference being held in New York on Sept. 15.  The format of this event is entirely one-on-one meetings and will not be webcast.

During the presentation, the Company will reiterate its current guidance for the third quarter.   The Company expects third quarter revenue to be $505 million to $510 million and income from continuing operations per diluted share to be $0.56 to $0.59.
