Given the overwhelming response, the company is planning two additional seminars in the spring and fall of 2011. The seminars will cover all aspects of industrial network design, including current technology trends, through a series of technical sessions and hands-on labs. More specific information on the 2011 seminars will be available soon.
Starting in January 2011, Belden also will offer monthly hands-on training courses at the Hirschmann Competence Center in Chambersburg, PA. These courses provide up to three days of intense, specialized hands-on training in Ethernet applications, including Ethernet Fundamentals, Advanced Ethernet, Wireless Ethernet, Routing and Network Security. Lab exercises ensure that each student departs with not only an understanding of the technology, but practical working experience that can be put to good use when returning to their company.
Cleveland Parker, Vice President and General Manager, Belden Industrial Connectivity, says, "We are extremely pleased with the positive response to our upcoming network design seminar and we look forward to hosting the additional seminars in 2011. We also expect a good turnout for our monthly hands-on training courses since they provide a great forum for the appropriate use of Ethernet technology."
