The building, which consists of two- and three-bedroom residences and delivers a full suite of lifestyle-enhancing services and five-star resort amenities from its prime location at the edge of Beverly Hills and Century City, has been billed as the hottest and most innovative luxury residential development to hit Los Angeles.
Developer Crescent Heights® made technology a high priority in their newest venture, creating what Bel Air Internet founder Terry Koosed calls "the most technologically seamless building in the entire city, if not the country."
Future residents at Ten Thousand will each get their own individual, personal and private Wi-Fi network, available only to them throughout the entire property, whether they want to use their iPad in the lobby to print a document in their residence or stream music from their cloud while lounging at the building's pool.
"The entire process is designed to be seamlessly integrated for residents," explains Michelle Norris, head of business development for Bel Air Internet. "Instead of waiting for a technician to come and install equipment, residents at Ten Thousand will be able to access their personal Internet portal the instant they move in, onboard all their devices within moments and access their own personal Wi-Fi network from any of their devices across the property. This is a unique convenience as residents will not be restricted to using communal Wi-Fi in common areas, as is the case in every other building in Los Angeles."
The building has also been "blanketed in Wi-Fi" as Koosed puts it, which along with its management systems, limits interference from neighbors' routers, ensuring the best user experience. Utilizing proprietary tools such as heat maps and network analyzers, Bel Air Internet evaluated all potential Wi-Fi interference culprits from steel beams to energy-rated materials, such as glass windows, to create a sophisticated network architecture that is immune to the technological issues common in most residential high-rise buildings. Every residence at Ten Thousand will not only have instant wireless access, but a designated technology concierge onsite will also be available to provide residents assistance with connecting to their personal digital devices and home entertainment systems.
In addition, Bel Air Internet receives real-time remote updates enabling them to proactively support the system. "If we notice a lot of bandwidth getting used in one area of the building, perhaps from a resident downloading several HD films, we can adjust the system so that speeds remain uncompromised for other residents," Koosed confirms.
"Our goal was to assemble the best team at Ten Thousand to deliver on our vision of providing an effortless day-to-day residential experience and our partnership with Bel Air is an extension of that," said Roman Speron, Regional Manager for Crescent Heights®. "Ten Thousand will offer a completely holistic user experience with both gigabit high-speed internet and multi-room DIRECTV service made available to every resident, in addition to user-friendly touchscreen displays outside the building's elevator lobbies and an app-based management portal that will connect residents directly with building staff within moments, enabling them to book a house car through the valet, request a restaurant reservation with the concierge, reserve a private training session or schedule a multitude of other services. We are taking away unnecessary worries while using technology to save our residents time out of their busy schedules, providing an unparalleled level of convenience and personalization while anticipating our residents' needs and desires."
Ten Thousand will begin pre-leasing and open its leasing office to prospective residents in August 2016.
