MIAMI, June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- beIN SPORTS, the international sports network, reached nearly 14 million viewers with the group stage matches of the Copa America tournament. According to Nielsen Media Research, 10 million people tuned into beIN SPORTS en Espanol while the beIN SPORTS' English Channel delivered nearly 4 million viewers throughout the first stage of the tournament.

The top three matches thus far, in terms of total viewers across both English and Spanish channels:
- Brazil vs. Colombia on June 17 – 1.4 million total viewers
- Mexico vs. Chile on June 15 – 1.4 million viewers
- Argentina vs. Uruguay on June 16 – 1.1 million viewers
beIN SPORTS' broadcasts of 'The Xtra Chile 2015' pre and post-game shows have also seen success across both networks. 'The Xtra Chile 2015' pre-game show delivered a total of 4.1 million viewers on beIN SPORTS en Espanol and 1 million viewers on the English channel throughout the first stage of Copa America. 'The Xtra Chile 2015' wrap up special has delivered an average of 3.5 million viewers on beIN SPORTS en Espanol and 1 million viewers on the English channel. Special guests and contributors such as Ruud Gullit, Christian Vieri, Juan Pablo Angel, Andy Gray, Richards Keys, Francisco 'Kikin' Fonseca, Sergio Goycochea, and Tony Meola have been breaking down and analyzing all the action and news from each match day.
Advancing to the quarterfinal round is host country, Chile, who dominated their group with a total of seven points, along with Bolivia, who placed second. Argentina saw victory within Group B, beside second and third place, Paraguay and Uruguay, who will also compete this weekend. Brazil, Peru and Colombia have advanced from Group C. Quarterfinals for the tournament will begin on June 24th, followed by semifinals on June 29th. The Copa America final will be played on July 4th, 2015; all matches will air live exclusively on beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS en Espanol, and beIN CONNECT.
