Behringer Harvard Appoints Institutional Sales Director

DALLAS, June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Behringer Harvard announced today that Mr. Michael W. Davis has joined the firm as Institutional Sales Director. He is responsible for developing institutional channel distribution strategies for Behringer Harvard's existing and expanding product portfolio, including sales of alternative and direct investments.

Mr. Davis brings to this newly created role more than 20 years of experience in managing and servicing investment relationships, new business development, and strategic marketing. Most recently, he was Director of Investor Relations for Gorelick Brothers Capital in Charlotte, North Carolina. From 2005 to 2008, he was Managing Director and Head Trader, Debt Capital Markets, for National City Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. At JPMorgan/Bank One Capital Markets, Inc. in Chicago, he was Director and Trader, Portfolio Risk Management, from 2002 to 2005.

He has previous management experience in Chicago at Deerfield Capital Management; PPM America, Inc.; Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Company; Cohen Financial Corporation; and Kenneth Leventhal & Company. Mr. Davis has an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago and a BBA from the University of Michigan, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
