Behringer Harvard Adds New Head of Due Diligence and Product Development

DALLAS, April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Behringer Harvard announced today that Mr. Patrick Jez has joined Behringer Harvard as Head of Due Diligence and Product Development. His responsibilities include managing due diligence efforts for all product offerings, generating market and competitor research, and contributing to new product development and expansion of the firm's investment platform.

Most recently, Mr. Jez was Director of Due Diligence and Market Research for Hines, a Houston-based real estate firm involved in real estate investment, development and property management worldwide, with controlled assets valued at approximately $22.9 billion. Mr. Jez was responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships with the selling partners for the company's non-listed REITs and managing product research and competitive intelligence.

Before joining Hines in June 2005, Mr. Jez was affiliated with several Houston firms. From 2004 to 2005, he was a Client Service Manager for Beacon Alliance, a consulting firm focusing on the real estate and oil and gas industries. At AIG American General from 2001 to 2004, he was Senior Internal Auditor for their broker-dealer and life insurance companies. Mr. Jez also was a Financial Planning Manager at Dell in 2000 and a Sales Associate for Smith Barney from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Jez has an MBA in operations management and logistics and a BBA in finance, both from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
