Behringer Announces Rick Golod as Chief Global Strategist

DALLAS, April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Behringer announced today that Richard "Rick" Golod has joined the firm in the role of chief global strategist.

In this highly visible role, Golod will address national conferences; lead industry roundtables and investor events; and shape the company's outreach to advisors and financial intermediaries with cutting-edge investment thinking; insights into nontraditional institutional investment vehicles designed to reduce portfolio risk and increase overall returns; and strategies for improving asset allocation through videos, Web and podcasts, and other media channels.

Before joining Behringer, Golod was director of global investment strategies at Invesco, where he analyzed global financial and economic trends to predict where investors could have the greatest probability of earning the highest returns with the least amount of risk. Before joining Invesco, Golod was director of global investments at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and he served in the same capacity at Van Kampen Investments for more than 14 years.

Golod earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds the Certified Investment Strategist designation as well as FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
