Beeline Completes ISAE-3402 / SSAE-16 Examination

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Beeline, a global leader in workforce management solutions, headquartered in Jacksonville, Fl., recently completed a combined SSAE 16 / ISAE-3402 ("SOC 1") examination following an intensive, independent audit by BrightLine CPAs & Associates, Inc.

Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE 16), titled Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization, is an attestation standard that establishes the requirements and guidance for reporting on controls at a service organization relevant to user entities' internal control over financial reporting. SSAE No. 16 superseded the SAS 70 audit standard in mid-2011. It is the adapted version of the International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402, titled Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organization, for use in the United States.

By obtaining a "combined" report, Beeline is able to meet the reporting requirements of domestic clients as well as any international organizations that prefer reports prepared in accordance with ISAE 3402.  In actuality, there is very little difference between a combined report and the standard SSAE 16 report, with the most notable change being additional language within the service auditor's opinion letter and management's assertion.
