RESTON, Va., Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bechtel announced today that it won the 2015 Candidate Experience Award, which recognizes excellence in the hiring process as measured by job-applicant survey responses.
The annual award – administered through the Talent Board, an organization that works with corporations on hiring processes and talent acquisition – honors companies with the highest-rated experience of candidates in the recruiting, hiring, and screening processes.
"The Candidate Experience Award is a testament to the dedication of our recruiting, staffing, and talent-acquisition groups," said Larry Melton, Bechtel's manager of Human Resources. "Our team strives to bring top talent to Bechtel, and the acknowledgment of quality of our processes and our candidate's positive experience is an accomplishment to celebrate."
The award was presented at the 2015 Candidate Experience Symposium in Fort Worth, Texas. This year, more than 130,000 candidates – who had applied to more than 200 U.S. participating organizations – were surveyed.
