Beacon Health Options Signature Network Expands to Offer Cutting-Edge Treatment Options for Complex Child and Adolescent Conditions

BOSTON, Feb. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Beacon Health Options announced today that its Signature Network, a system of innovative treatment centers specializing in intensive treatment options and inpatient care for behavioral health and substance use disorders, will now offer cutting-edge treatment options for complex child and adolescent conditions. The Beacon Health Options Signature Network now includes two Centers of Excellence—Willow Springs Center in Nevada, and Rogers Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin—that will support the new specialty.

Launched in January 2014 as the ValueOptions Signature Network, it is now the Beacon Health Options Network as the result of the merger of ValueOptions and Beacon Health Strategies late last year. 

The Beacon Health Options Signature Network brings together a unique system of treatment facilities—known as Centers of Excellence—selected for their clinical expertise and focus on highly personalized care. Initially, the network was comprised of 13 Centers of Excellence which specialized in treating those with complex substance use and eating disorders. With the addition of Willow Springs Center and Rogers Memorial Hospital's child and adolescent units, the network will now also specialize in treating a range of complex child and adolescent issues, including:

• Schizoaffective Disorder

The Beacon Health Options Signature Network, which just celebrated its first anniversary in January, remains one of the few networks of its kind in the nation to focus exclusively on caring for behavioral health and substance use disorders that have had limited response to standard treatment options. Each Center of Excellence is selected based on proven experience and expertise in designing individualized treatment plans, adherence to evidence-based best practice, quality member/family services, and a multidisciplinary approach to discharge planning that supports continuity of care and transition back to the community. All of the participating facilities have signed a memorandum of understanding stating their commitment to continue delivering effective clinical outcomes, quality informed service delivery, and active coordination to ensure continuity of care.

The Beacon Health Options Signature Network also added a new Center of Excellence that specializes in treating eating disorders—Eating Recovery Center in Colorado.
