Beacon Communications Completes Audio Visual Project at Vertafore Headquarters in Denver, Colorado
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Beacon Communications has recently completed an audio-visual project at the Vertafore headquarters in downtown Denver. Vertafore is the leader in modern insurance technology and provides exceptional customer service and solutions that allow customers across to the distribution channel to remain independent and redefine the possible during a time of industry evolution. Vertafore brought on Beacon Communications to complete an innovative tech renovation in their headquarters with the goal of improving internal communications and creating a unique office space.
This Audio-Video project included a Huddle room, fifteen different conference rooms, one divisible training room, multiple interactive lobby displays, 25 digital signage displays, and an Audio-Video recording studio.
The project was inventive with details including a 55" display to show the current camera feed in the audio and video recording studio and an Extron streaming video capture system was provided to record videos and support streaming. "Retrieval of recorded video from the capture system is easily done by accessing the system over the network, or simply plugging in a USB drive," explained Phil Tourney, AV Solutions Manager at Beacon. The audio and visual recording studio also included an Allen & Heath six-channel mixing board, a professional grade recording microphone, and two JBL studio grade speakers, as well as a wireless microphone system.
In the main conference room at their office, Beacon installed a dual 90" wall mounted display. This room included a local HDMI wall plate as well as a USB connection on the wall for the rack mounted, owner provided PC. This room has a QSC PTZ camera, Shure MXA910 ceiling microphones, and ceiling speakers for Zoom meetings. A Shure wireless microphone system was provided for local reinforcement. "Room control was accomplished by a Crestron control system and a wall mounted touch panel that allows for display control, microphone, and audio levels," explained Tourney.
Many other conference rooms include single 70" wall mounted displays, Barco Clickshare for wireless presentations, as well as owner provided PCs. Logitech Group conferencing cameras and table microphones were installed for Zoom Meeting integration, with an owner provided tablet for Zoom meeting control.
"The space turned out amazing," said Tourney. "It was a very fun and challenging project with a very aggressive construction schedule. Beacon worked very closely with i2 Construction, CBRE, and Vertafore to ensure we delivered the Audio-Video systems they were looking for."
