Beachfront home in Ixtapa, Mexico, to sell at auction
IXTAPA, Mexico, Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A furnished five-bedroom beachfront home on Ixtapa's Zihuatanejo Beach will sell at absolute auction Saturday, November 15, with Albert Burney Auctioneers marketing the home and managing the sale. Also selling in the same auction will be an adjacent beachfront home site.
"The beaches along this area are some of the prettiest you can find anywhere on the Pacific Coast, and this home was built to make the most of the surroundings, with mountains behind it and the ocean in front," said Warren Ward, president of the auction company.
"The sunsets over the ocean horizon are amazing, and the home has an open design that provides unimpeded views from the living, dining and kitchen areas. The home has 4,100 square feet of open covered terraces," said Ward. "While we're offering the home and the additional home site separately, it's entirely possible that the buyer will end up purchasing both to provide even more privacy and a total of approximately 300 feet of beachfront."
The home, built in 2006, has a natural river rock pool and a large generator that provides backup power and water to the entire compound. It is located 20 minutes north of Ixtapa.
The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the home. Albert Burney personnel will be available at the home from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Nov. 11 through the auction date.
