BeachFleischman PC promotes Armstrong, Bickerton and Maneval to shareholder

TUCSON, Ariz., Jan. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BeachFleischman PC, one of Arizona's largest locally-owned CPA firms, is proud to announce the promotions of Susan A. Armstrong, Jon Bickerton, and Eric B. Maneval to shareholder, effective January 1, 2017.  

Susan A. Armstrong, CPA is a Tax Shareholder and a member of the firm's Real Estate Segment Team. She has 19 years of public accounting experience and manages numerous partnership, individual and corporate client engagements. Susan specializes in tax planning, consulting and compliance for commercial and residential real estate clients, including investors, brokers, developers and management companies. She has performed many of the firm's 1031 exchange engagements. Susan is very active in trade and community groups and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants and Tucson Tax Study Group. She also is a board member with the Commercial Real Estate Women (Tucson), USAFA Arizona Parents Club and Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona.  Susan is a graduate of the University of Arizona and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance.

Jon Bickerton, CPA is a Tax Shareholder and a member of the firm's Science & Manufacturing, and Cost Segregation Segment Teams. He has over 10 years of public accounting experience managing many of the firm's privately-held and not-for-profit tax engagements. Jon specializes in helping companies claim federal and state tax credits and incentives, including the research and development tax credit. He also advises real property owners on taking advantage of special engineering-based tax savings techniques such as cost segregation and Section 179D. Jon is a subject matter leader keeping clients updated on the latest tangible property regulations. He is involved with many trade and community groups and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, Tucson Tax Study Group and Tucson Young Tax Professionals. He is also the finance chair for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. Jon is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance.

Eric B. Maneval, CPA is an Accounting and Assurance Shareholder and a member of the firm's Not-for-Profit, and Science & Manufacturing Segment Teams. He has 13 years of public accounting experience managing audit and review engagements. Eric specializes in helping his not-for-profit, governmental, healthcare, and manufacturing clients achieve compliance and improve accountability, and he advises on industry-specific issues impacting their operations and mission. Eric also oversees some of the firm's employee benefit plan audits and audits under the Uniform Guidance 2 CFR Part 200 (Super Circular). He is involved with several trade and community groups including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Tucson Sunrise. Eric is a graduate of the University of Arizona and holds a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance.
