Analyst Update: Product Deployments, Acquisitions, Sales Milestones, and Update on Events

US stocks closed lower on Monday, as it erased most of its early hour gains in the final hour of trading. Traders pulled back following last week's rally despite renewed weakness in the dollar index and a fresh rally in the oil prices. The S&P 500 declined 3.68 points, or 0.17%, to end at 2104.42, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 11.61 points or 0.06% to 18116.04. The tech-heavy NASDAQ edged 15.45 points or 0.31% lower to close at 5010.97. On economic front, sales of previously owned homes in US rose 1.2% in February, while economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had expected a 1.7% increase. European benchmark indices mostly ended lower on Monday, partly due to profit taking after strong advances in the previous session. Germany's DAX 30 fell 143.53 points or 1.19% to 11,895.84, and Eurostoxx 50 was lower 27.03 points or 0.73% to 3,699.04. France's CAC 40 declined 32.97 points or 0.65% to 5,054.52.
3D Systems Corporation (3DS) announced that Chicago-based mechanical component supplier Bi-Link Corporation has deployed its 3D-printed injection mold tooling to drive powerful design cycle innovation and reduce part development costs.
Amber Road, Inc. (Amber Road) has acquired ecVision- a cloud-based provider of global sourcing and collaborative supply chain solutions, for a net cash amount of approximately $24 million. The terms of the transaction also has an earn-out provision of up to $9 million over the next two years based upon achievement of certain revenue milestones and employee retention.
AVG Technologies N.V. (AVG Technologies) has recently crossed the milestone of having 200 million active users worldwide including over 100 million on mobile. More than 50 million new customers have joined the AVG family over the last 18 months by using one or more of AVG's consumer and business products for mobile and desktop platforms, including Android, iOS, Windows and Apple Mac.
Guidewire Software, Inc. (Guidewire) recently held its Innovation in Insurance conference in Brussels. The event brought together insurers from 15 countries in Europe, Middle East, and South Africa (EMEA) to share their experiences of innovation, explore the impact of emerging technologies, and gain perspective on technology trends.
ChannelAdvisor Corporation's (ChannelAdvisor) announced its participation at Catalyst Americas 2015, to be held from March 30 to April 1, 2015.
