Be a Fan. Special Olympics Georgia State Games Coming to Middle Georgia Aug. 24-26
ATLANTA, Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Two Special Olympics Georgia State Games will be held in middle Georgia Aug. 24-26: the State Horse Show and State Masters Bowling. Over 1,000 athletes from all over Georgia will travel to Warner Robins to compete to be the best bowler and to Perry for equestrian competitions.
In Warner Robins, bowling competitions will be held at Gold Cup Lanes and Robins Lanes Air Force Base. This is the third Masters Bowling Tournament hosted in Warner Robins. The city has also won the bid to host the Special Olympics Masters Bowling Tournament for 2013-15.
The State Horse Show features more than 300 athletes from all over coming together to compete to be Georgia's best in showmanship, dressage, english and western riding, and riding trails at Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry.
The games are free and open to the public. Awards will be given out throughout the weekend. We hope you will come and Be a Fan in the stands!
