BDI Launches Three New Office Solutions

From a small home office to an executive workspace, new collections designed to fit any job

CHANTILLY, Va., Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BDI, a design innovator in furniture solutions that seamlessly integrate technology into the home or office, has announced a range of office solutions that take the "work" out of finding the perfect desk. Whether your needs are a small station to pay bills or a complete executive office, BDI's new office collections meet the unique needs of a variety of office spaces. Designed by Matthew Weatherly, these office collections begin shipping to consumers in October 2014.

BDI offers office solutions for any size environment: for small spaces, the Aspect desk and hutch; for mid-size environments, the Modica desk and file cabinet; and for executive or large offices, the Sequel executive desk.

The ASPECT collection includes a Compact Computer Desk (model 6231) and Hutch (model 6234), and aims to maximize productivity within a minimal footprint. Perfect for a cozy corner or small home office, the all-in-one compact computer desk includes a pullout, flip-down drawer for keyboards or laptop computers. A sliding tray keeps a printer close at hand and three locking drawers conceal plenty of storage for supplies and hanging files. The optional hutch attaches securely to the desk and adds additional storage and shelving. Aspect is available in two finishes: a Satin White or Black surround, complementing a Natural Walnut finish.

For a mid-size home office BDI introduces the MODICA collection, which draws its inspiration from a classic sawhorse worktable. The collection includes the Modica Office Desk (model 6341) and Mobile File Pedestal (model 6347). Measuring at 19.5"H x 34.5"W x 18.25"D, the Modica desk stands securely on v-shaped steel legs, making it possible to work comfortably and efficiently from all sides. With two drawers and an open center compartment, users are able to keep laptops and important papers close at hand. The desk also features an integrated power compartment that provides easy access to cables for computers or rechargeable items. The mobile file pedestal rests on locking casters and includes a storage drawer and locking file drawer for letter or legal-sized hanging folders. Its low profile enables easy positioning anywhere around the desk, and is the perfect location for a scanner, printer or all-in-one. Modica is available in a Natural Walnut finish accented by Black details.

For a professional office setting, BDI's SEQUEL EXEUCUTIVE DESK (model 6021) provides the largest work surface in the popular Sequel collection. Measuring 67.75" wide by 32.25" deep, it is specifically engineered to provide an organized and efficient workspace for a corporate environment. It features a center multifunction keyboard drawer and two side drawers for storage of supplies, all lined with non-slip neoprene to keep contents in place. Integrated cable management channels keep computer cables organized. The desk is large enough for collaborative work space or to conduct a meeting for two people on either side. Like the rest of the Sequel collection, the top work surface is constructed of BDI's black, micro-etched glass, which provides a smooth, non-glare work surface. This model is available in three hardwood veneer finishes (Natural Stained Cherry, Espresso Stained Oak and Natural Walnut), and is accented with satin brushed-nickel legs.
