BCD Travel named 'Most Admired TMC' by The Beat readers
ATLANTA, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Readers of The Beat, a widely popular business travel newsletter published by the BTN Group, have chosen BCD Travel as the 2013 Most Admired Travel Management Company.
The award was based on a poll conducted this summer that asked readers to choose the company they "most admire for its policies, management style and service for business clients." Participants could not vote for their own employers. They picked their favorites in six supplier categories: airline, hotel, car rental, TMC, tech provider and payment system.
The Beat's 10,000 readers include travel executives from corporations, TMCs, airlines, hotels, global distribution systems, technology providers, car rental firms, payment systems, consultants, financial analysts and media. The BTN Group also owns Business Travel News and Travel Procurement.
"This is the second time in five years that The Beat's readers have selected us as their most admired TMC. We first won the honor in 2009," said John Snyder, global president and COO. "Our recognition among these groups suggests that the travel community as a whole holds us in the highest regard. Naturally, we're proud to capture that kind of accolade."
