HOUSTON, May 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass has added John Kiella, the founder and president of Kiella Real Estate Group, to its Temple advisory board to support the bank's business and development efforts.
"We are thrilled to have John join our board as his vision aligns with the bank's efforts to make the city a better place to live and work," said Keith Odom, BBVA Compass' Temple city president. "John's expertise in real estate also will help us understand more about that sector's financial needs and allow us to respond to market demands more swiftly."
Kiella earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and then moved to Texas to work for the influential home-builder Nash Phillips/Copus Builders. He established his home-building company in 1987. That firm evolved into multiple companies responsible for land development, light commercial projects, retail planning and the revitalization of downtown Temple.
