HOUSTON, Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored BBVA Compass Chairman and CEO Manolo Sanchez as its Hispanic Male Executive of the Year on Saturday night at its annual gala, the city's largest gathering to celebrate Hispanic business leaders.
Sanchez has been at the helm as BBVA Compass transformed itself into one of the more aggressive digital challengers in banking while also landing at No. 1 on American Banker's reputation ranking of the top 25 banks. Under his leadership, BBVA Compass has grown market share inside its Sunbelt footprint and expanded nationally through the opening of loan production offices.
