BBVA Compass Announces $500,000 Donation to American Red Cross to Assist in Tornado Recovery Efforts
BBVA Compass Mobile ATM deployed to Tuscaloosa to provide victims access to funds
Disaster relief program being implemented to assist individuals and businesses
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass announced today that the BBVA Compass Foundation has pledged a $500,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist in the tornado recovery efforts in Alabama. In addition to the monetary donation, BBVA Compass earlier today deployed its BBVA Compass Mobile ATM to Tuscaloosa to help provide victims access to funds. Access to the Mobile ATM is free for both BBVA Compass customers as well as non-customers.

For those wishing to assist the American Red Cross in their relief efforts, donations will be accepted at any of the 716 BBVA Compass branch locations throughout its seven-state Sunbelt footprint. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
