WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- BB&T Corporation (NYSE: BBT) today named Senior Executive Vice President Donna Goodrich as treasurer. A member of BB&T's Executive Management Team since 2007, Goodrich will have oversight for the company's treasury functions, including balance sheet management; investment portfolio management; liquidity risk management and funding; interest rate risk management; deposit pricing; and the bank's capital stress testing efforts. She will assume the role, effective immediately, and report to Chief Financial Officer Daryl Bible.

Goodrich, 55, has 33 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a native of Richmond, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in commerce, she joined BB&T's Leadership Development Program in 1985. Goodrich served in a variety of roles in her early years with BB&T as a retail services officer, financial center manager, mergers and acquisitions analyst, asset/liability management specialist and eventually assumed the role of deposits and corporate funding manager in 2002. Over the past several years, she has assumed leadership for several functions including client care centers, deposit product development, fraud, operational support and payments. She most recently served as deposits, operations and fraud manager.
Goodrich is a highly respected and proven leader at BB&T, the financial services industry and her community. Her roles include serving as past chair of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta; past chair of the North Carolina Banking Association; and an executive sponsor for the BB&T United Way Women's Leadership Council. Goodrich is an active member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons, North Carolina.
