BBH Parent Company Has Filed the Opening of a Formal Process to Restructure Financial Obligations

WHEELING, Ill., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Bowe Systec AG (BSAG), headquartered in Augsburg, Germany, announced that it has filed for the opening of a formal process to restructure its finances. The company will continue its operations in support of worldwide customers. This includes sales and support of the Bowe Systec products.  

BOWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH), headquartered in Wheeling Ill., a wholly owned subsidiary, is not affected by this announcement financially. BBH operates as and has a separate legal and financial structure, distinct from Bowe Systec.  

BBH sells and services mailing equipment and software in North and South America that is manufactured from a variety of different sources including Bowe Systec AG. "As this process evolves, we will work to ensure that customers with Bowe Systec solutions continue to receive outstanding levels of support," said George Marton CEO, BBH.

The sales and support of all other software, sorting and inserting equipment manufactured and sold by BBH and Bell + Howell International will remain unaffected by this announcement.
