NEWPORT NEWS, Va., July 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- BayPort Credit Union today announced it has awarded scholarships to 16 college students and working adults, and 24 high school seniors. Awarding over $100,000 in scholarships and grants every year, it is BayPort's intent on helping its member students be happy, healthy, and financially wise.
This year, BayPort has partnered with WAVY-TV NBC and WVBT-FOX43 to honor this year's scholarship recipients as part of the credit union's Scholarship Salute recognition program. From high school seniors to full-time college students and working adults, this year's Scholarship Salute aims to celebrate each of those winners.
