Baylor University School of Nursing Expands Sim Lab's Line-Up of Gaumard® Scientific Products with Addition of Victoria™, Industry's Most Advanced Birthing Simulator
MIAMI, Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaumard Scientific Company today reported that the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing has added the industry's most advanced birthing simulator, Victoria, to the Don A. and Ruth Buccholz Simulation Lab. Victoria joins an extensive line-up of high-fidelity simulators at Baylor that includes other members of Gaumard's family of NOELLE® and HAL® products.
Victoria, Gaumard's newest NOELLE simulator, has a patented, precision life-like delivery and birthing mechanism that births a life-like, full-term baby with sophisticated monitoring capabilities. The Victoria system includes comprehensive clinical scenarios, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. With articulating endoskeletons and silky smooth elastomeric skin, Victoria is the most realistic, fully tetherless and wireless maternal/fetal simulator for use in actual point of care training.

The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) was established in 1909 as a diploma program within Baylor Hospital in Dallas, which is now Baylor University Medical Center, and in 1950 became one of the six degree-granting schools of Baylor University.
