Baylor Emergency Medical Center At Aubrey Partners With Aubrey Independent School District
Donation of new band trailer and new school logo to be unveiled at final home football game
HOUSTON, Oct. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Baylor Emergency Medical Centers and Emerus Holdings announced today that Baylor Emergency Medical Center at Aubrey – one of seven Baylor EMC facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex – has partnered with Aubrey Independent School District to provide rebranding services and design for the system's academic and athletic logos. Baylor EMC at Aubrey also provided the high school marching band with a new, custom-built equipment trailer.
"This is such an exciting time for Aubrey schools and to have a community partner like the Baylor Emergency Medical Center at Aubrey provide this level of support to our students and community shows their commitment to the enriching nature of education," said Debbie Sanders, Aubrey Independent School District Superintendent. "We knew the Baylor facility in Aubrey would bring resources to the table that would help achieve our vision."
Baylor EMC at Aubrey enlisted, Rare Design of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, nationally known for their logo work for multiple major league sports teams including the Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Charlotte Hornets, and Portland Timbers, to help concept and create the new Chaparrals logo. In addition, Baylor EMC at Aubrey officials worked with the Aubrey High School Band and Booster Club to have a custom trailer built based on the band's specifications and needs. The total value of the logo creation work and band trailer is in excess of $40,000.
"The Aubrey community has been so important to our success that we wanted to take the opportunity and show our support to the families and students that will be the future of the area," said Toby Hamilton, CEO of Emerus Holdings of Houston, joint venture partner with Baylor Health Care in developing Baylor Emergency Medical Centers. "The people, the businesses and the schools in Aubrey do such a tremendous job energizing kids and supporting their development, that we saw this as a perfect opportunity to partner in supporting education and the arts."
The new Aubrey Independent School District logo and band trailer will be unveiled in a special ceremony at Aubrey High School's final home football game on Friday, October 31.
