Bayer MaterialScience LLC names new general manager for polycarbonate sheet business
SHEFFIELD, Mass., Aug. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bayer MaterialScience LLC announces the appointment of Jim Boehm to general manager of its polycarbonate sheet business.
Boehm has been with Bayer for 24 years, the last 12 in the Polycarbonates Business Unit. Most recently he was vice president of production and technology of polycarbonate at Bayer's Baytown, Texas, site. He holds a chemical engineering degree from The University of Toledo and an MBA from Xavier University.
Boehm succeeds Dennis Duff, who is retiring after a 26-year career in Bayer's polycarbonate sheet business, the last 18 as general manager.
