The two-hour Midday Symposia presentation, The Power of Control: Using pharmacy software tools to get control of your workflow, ensure quality control and support patient safety initiatives, features a panel of health-system professionals that will highlight how pharmacy workflow management can improve patient safety, drive efficiency and manage quality control in the pharmacy. The panel discussion, moderated by Rich Paoletti, Vice-President of Operations, Lancaster General Hospital, will explore the advantages of dose preparation management for IV and oral doses. The panel will include a number of pharmacy experts, including:

- Pranish Kantesaria, Director of Pharmacy, Riley Children's Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to earning a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, he worked in genetics research at Harvard Medical School after receiving his BS in biochemistry/biophysics.
