Among the pieces making their US debut are a stunning silver pocket watch with key-wound mechanical movement from 1915; a creative art nouveau style women's platinum watch set with diamonds, circa 1925 and a 1940 square watch crafted in 18-karat yellow gold with a leather strap. This beautiful timepiece served as the inspiration piece for the now iconic Hampton Collection.
Other men's highlights include a 1960 watch that was the inspiration piece for the brand's highly regarded Capeland Collection. Also dating to 1960 is a pink gold watch with leather strap and hand-wound chronograph mechanical movement that is similar in style.
In the women's category, the brand exhibit will include two stunning women's watches from 1950: A cylindrically shaped Marquise watch with a hand-wound mechanical movement crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, set with diamonds; and a petite, steel square watch with a hand-wound mechanical movement and white leather strap. Lastly, on display will be a 1998 piece – the first Linea watch, created in gold-plate with a gold bracelet and housing a quartz movement. This watch was the inspiration for the newest Linea Collection that is taking the market by storm.
Guests at TimeCrafters will enjoy a truly unique experience from Baume & Mercier who will showcase its true leadership in creating refined avant-garde watches for both women and men. This exhibition will showcase rarely seen historical museum pieces that elegantly profile the brand's rich history and timelessly superb craftsmanship.
