For the year, the BATS 1000 Index rose 1.1%.

Nine of the ten sectors that comprise the Index were down on the week with Basic Materials, down 1.4%, and Financials, down 1.3% leading the declines. The Utilities sector, up 0.2%, was the only winner this week.
