Basketball Cop Foundation Ribbon Cutting Grand Opening: Ignite Hope Basketball Court at Ignite Life Center

The Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening will be held on Sunday, December 11th from 12:30pm - 2:00pm at the Ignite Life Center located at 404 NW 14th Ave Gainesville, FL 32601. Meet viral video famous and Basketball Cop Foundation founder, GPD Officer Bobby "Basketball Cop" White as he cuts the ribbon at the brand new Ignite Hope Court. All kids are encouraged to attend, meet Officer White and participate in a Free Basketball Clinic presented by former Gainesville High School Standout Ron Larris.
Basketball Cop Foundation's mission is to connect law enforcement agencies across the country with the kids in their communities. Basketball Cop Foundation helps supply these agencies with sports equipment to give out to the kids in their local communities through their patrol officers. These initial donations help foster stronger relationships in the community, while also giving the patrol officers a place where they can interact and nurture these relationships with kids on regular basis. As Officer Bobby White says, "Any time I have a chance, even when I'm not on active duty, to get out and interact with kids in the community, I do so." In just a short time, the foundation has supplied basketball goals and balls to 27 different law enforcement across the country, connecting hundreds of officers with thousands of kids. The Ignite Hope Court at Ignite Life Center marks the third court we have built here in Gainesville, Florida. Together as a community, we can make a difference in the future of our country's youth.
