He brings deep insight into both the technical and business applications of APIs, including their increased importance, emergence of business models and technology trends. Musser brings three decades of leadership in various software development-focused positions where he has garnered a great deal of experience in building highly scalable and resilient software. He joins Basho Technologies from API Science, where he served as founder. Prior to API Science, Musser founded and led the ProgrammableWeb, a leading source of news and information about APIs, chronicling the evolution of the global API economy. Earlier in his career, Musser held technology leadership and consulting roles at leading firms such as Credit Suisse, MTV Viacom, AT&T Bell Labs, LivePerson, and consulted for clients including Google, Salesforce.com, Autodesk, and Microsoft.
