Barclays Wealth Hires Six Investment Representatives, Continuing Americas Expansion

Boston
Daniel Caso joins Barclays Wealth as an Investment Representative from Merrill Lynch, with over 25 years of experience. Prior to Merrill Lynch, where for the past four years he served high net worth individuals and families, Mr. Caso was a Managing Director in the Private Client Services division of Bear Stearns. Previously, he held portfolio management roles at Oppenheimer and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Caso holds a B.A. from Boston University.
Mr. Caso reports to Marty Courage, Regional Manager for Boston.

Robert E. Miller joins Barclays Wealth as an Investment Representative from Goldman Sachs' Private Wealth Management division. Mr. Miller, who brings 19 years of experience to his new role, started at Goldman Sachs in 1996. Most recently, he was a senior member of the Markets Desk responsible for managing fixed income and equity portfolios for high net worth individuals and family offices. Previous roles include management of the Mid-Atlantic Institutional Sales team in the Equities division. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Miller holds a B.S. from The University of Pennsylvania and an M.M. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He serves on the board of the Audrey Miller Poritzky Education Fund for Children.
Jorge Carreras and Carlos Molina join Barclays Wealth as Investment Representatives from the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Mr. Carreras brings 27 years experience serving high net worth individuals and families in Latin America to his new role. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2007, Mr. Carreras held private banking roles at Merrill Lynch for 15 years and at Citibank. Mr. Carreras holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts.
Carlos Molina has over 16 years of wealth management experience, working with high net worth individuals and families in Latin America. Prior to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, he spent seven years at Merrill Lynch as an International Financial Advisor. Before this, Mr. Molina was a Capital Markets analyst at Acciones Y Valores de Mexico, covering sector companies listed on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. Mr. Molina holds a B.S. from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico and an M.B.A. from HEC School of Management in Paris, France.

Douglas R. Bayer and Joseph Gilbert both join Barclays Wealth as Investment Representatives from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Mr. Bayer has 18 years of wealth management experience with a focus on Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 1995 where he was a member of the Chairman's Club, Mr. Bayer spent three years at Merrill Lynch in the wealth management division. He holds a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the ESOP Association and The National Center for Employee Ownership.
Mr. Gilbert, also an ESOP specialist, holds a B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College. He is also a member of the ESOP Association and The National Center for Employee Ownership.
Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Bayer report to Michael Burke, Regional Manager for Washington, D.C.
