Barchart Makes Global Commodity Statistics and Economic Data Available via cmdtyStats API

CHICAGO, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Barchart, a leading provider of market data and technology, is pleased to announce the launch of cmdtyStats™, a powerful API that can be used to pull global fundamental data on commodities, economic events, and world trade. The offering is available through Barchart's cmdty product line, which is focused on serving clients as a single source for all commodity data needs across futures, cash, trading, and reference data.

The data, which will include thousands of structured data series from the USDA, EIA, and Bureau of Labor Statistics can be delivered to users via OnDemand APIs and cmdtyView - Barchart's flagship data terminal built for commodity professionals. Historical data to inception is available for all data series.
