Barchart Expands FinTech Exchange Conference to Two Days

CHICAGO, March 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Barchart, a leading provider of financial market data and technology, has announced the dates for FinTech Exchange 2018 (FTX), their annual event which focuses on technology within financial markets and trading. Marking its fourth consecutive year, FTX has been expanded into a two-day event that will be held on April 25 and 26 at Venue SIX10 in downtown Chicago.

Day one will kickoff with the inaugural Startup Exchange, a brand new, half-day event featuring startups focused on the technology within financial markets. Sixteen startups will demo their product and technology on stage to a 400 person audience and a panel of judges who will award the top three firms with cash prizes. This event, which is geared towards both startups and investors, will provide participants and attendees the opportunity to attract partners and meet up-and-coming first-stage startups offering the newest and most innovative technology in capital markets.

Day two will feature the main FinTech Exchange event. Day two will also feature two in-depth sessions. One session will focus on the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain ecosystem while the other session will cover Alternative Data. The day will also feature a networking lunch, exhibit hall, keynote presentation, ten Lightning Round presentations and a reception. The Lightning Round program, which is being sponsored by Cboe Global Markets, will feature presentations from top industry experts and firms such as Kraken, Tibco, Alibaba Cloud, CME Group, DataRobot, Sterling Trading Tech, Gate 39 Media and Vela.
