SYOSSET, N.Y., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ms. Barbara Butler Foster, of Boston, Massachusetts, has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of intellectual property asset management.

ABOUT MS. BARBARA BUTLER FOSTER

Ms. Butler Foster has had over 18 years of experience in the field of intellectual property asset management.  She is currently serving as IP Counsel and a Registered Patent Attorney with Anaqua, Inc., a company that manufactures software for managing intellectual property assets.  She works with staff software engineers.  Prior to Anaqua, Ms. Butler Foster served as an Associate with Waddey & Patterson, as an Assistant Attorney General, both in Nashville, Tennessee, and as a Science Assistant with the Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Physiology, in Munich, Germany.  She also interned with Chief Justice Paul Michel, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.  Ms. Butler Foster received an M.S. in Zoology (Physiology), from the University of Washington in 1978, an M.S. in Cell Biology, from Vanderbilt University in 1994, and is a Candidate for an L.L.M. degree from George Washington University.  She is a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation and is a member of the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and The American Intellectual Property Law Association.  Ms. Butler Foster currently resides in Needham, Massachusetts, where she enjoys dog sledding, skiing, marathons, family activities, animals and her own farm.
