Bar-S Foods Voluntarily Recalls Limited Quantity of Products Due to Possible Contamination

PHOENIX, July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bar-S Foods is voluntarily recalling corn dogs and hot dogs, which may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported in association with any of the recalled product. The recalled products are limited to the products and code dates referenced below, and the company is recalling these products as a precautionary measure. 

The products were made during a four-day window at a single manufacturing site. The company's testing protocols suggested some products made during this short timeframe have the potential to be contaminated. 

ONLY THE FOLLOWING 5 PRODUCTS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL:

Bar-S Foods is recalling the products as a precautionary measure and has asked its customers to remove the products from their inventory.
