HURST, Texas, March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bar Louie Hurst announced today they will host a fundraising event called "Louie Loves" to honor Officer David Hofer. During the event, which will be held all day this Thursday, March 10th, 20% of Net Food and Drink Sales will be donated to the Hofer family through the Euless Police Benevolent Organization.
"I knew Dave through a mutual friend and officer from the NYPD. He was a great guy, always a lot of fun to be around, and created memorable moments for anyone that had the pleasure to be around him," said Colleen Flaherty, Marketing Coordinator for Bar Louie and organizer of the event. "It's a small gesture, but I know that Euless Police Benevolent Organization will help take care of Dave's family."
For those interested in participating, all they need to do is download a special "Louie Loves" flyer or pick one up at the Bar Louie Hurst location. Guests joining the event on Thursday, March 10th, should bring in the flyer or show a digital copy on their phone so Bar Louie can acknowledge their donation to the Hofer family.
