For late fall of 2015, Bar Hugo will feature a menu filled with delicious items made from the finest ingredients. Menu items include Grilled Hanger Steak Crostini served with caramelized onions and horseradish sauce, Tuna Tartare made with ahi tuna, avocado, mint, pepperoncini, and flatbread crostino, and Polpettini di Vitello made with veal meatballs, tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese.
Guests can also choose from lighter fare on the menu, such as Warm Spinach Dip with cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and chips, Truffle or Sweet Potato Fries served with parmesan cheese and white truffle oil, and a Cheese Platter with brie, gorgonzola, parmesan and a side of crostino. For guests who want something sweeter, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and warm zeppole with caramel nutella dipping sauce are also available. Those visiting the area can enjoy top-notch accommodations at the facility's hotel.
Bar Hugo's fall cocktail menu continues the rooftop bar's reputation for giving catchy names to its drinks, such as Giggle Juice and Wycked Elyxer. Guests can enjoy Jack O'Lantern's Rebel Yell rye, pumpkin syrup smash and cinnamon-infused pumpkin seed dust, or try The Hugo made with St. Germain, fresh mint, fresh lime, and Prosecco. Additional options include Districto Federal featuring Avion Reposado, Sweet Vermouth, Combier L'Orange, chocolate bitter, and fresh lime and Solitaire's Kiss with Belvedere, Solbeso, Lillet Blanc, and orange bitters.
"We want to provide guests with a relaxing place to enjoy delicious foods and drinks while taking in amazing views of the Hudson. We made sure that our fall menu's seasonal items give our guests an impressive selection to choose from," said Largotta. Bar Hugo opened on the rooftop of Hotel Hugo last fall and has since earned praise for its sexy, elegant, warm, and inviting interior, which features caramel-colored decor and an S-shaped bar. The rooftop bar also features a deck from which guests can get even better views of the Hudson and notable NYC attractions, including the Statue of Liberty and Freedom Tower while sitting comfortably on luxurious leather banquettes.
