For each loan generated through the Send A Smile campaign, BHG will donate a cleft repair surgery on behalf of their clients. BHG has pledged a minimum of $25,000 and to date, the campaign has provided funding for 18 surgeries.
BHG and Operation Smile also hope that the campaign will help raise awareness and support from within the healthcare community. More than 5,000 healthcare professionals already volunteer with Operation Smile to provide surgeries and training around the world.
"The Send A Smile campaign provides BHG with a great opportunity to help donate life-changing surgeries to children around the world," said Chris Panebianco, Senior VP of Marketing at BHG. "It also gives us a chance to express our appreciation to healthcare professionals for their continued hard work and sacrifice."
