Bankers Healthcare Group Named Central New York's Best Place to Work

SYRACUSE, N.Y., May 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Healthcare Group, a leading provider of innovative financing solutions to healthcare professionals, was recently honored as one of Central New York's Best Places to Work by the CNY Business Journal. BHG was awarded the top spot on the list of companies with more than 50 employees.

The inaugural list was made up of 20 CNY organizations split into two categories based on employee count. To be eligible for consideration, organizations needed to have a local brick-and-mortar location and at least five employees in the 16-county CNY area. More than 1,100 employees completed a 52-question online survey designed to gauge employee satisfaction in a number of different areas.

BHG recently instituted a company-wide wellness program focused on health and fitness as well as maintaining work-life balance. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of an on-site fitness center and complimentary nutrition counseling. BHG also sponsors employee participation in various recreational leagues and endurance events.

Looking to the future, the company has plans to launch several new ventures in an effort to add to its financing offerings. To accommodate the growth, BHG will soon be moving to its newly constructed financial headquarters in the Franklin Square section of downtown Syracuse.

In addition to the Syracuse location, Bankers Healthcare Group has offices in New York City and Southwest Ranches, Florida. BHG has more than 160 employees between the three locations.
