"We have been very fortunate for the opportunity to work alongside the NDA and its partners in our shared efforts to continue advancing the organization," said Canal. "It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by the NDA for our contribution."
The NDA formed the Corporate Roundtable in 1997 in an effort to strengthen the organization's growth and development. In 2012, the NDA established four new Corporate Roundtable committees to further prepare the organization for the future.
The NDA tapped BHG to assist in the development of a plan to strengthen corporate relationships, appointing Al Canal as Chair of the Committee on Vendor and Partner Enhancement. Under Canal's leadership, the committee was tasked with developing a strategy for vendor recruitment and retention with the goal of fostering successful, long-term partnerships.
"It was truly a special honor to present Al Canal of Bankers Healthcare Group with the National Dental Association Corporate Award at our annual convention this summer," said Dr. Ed Chappelle Jr., President of the NDA. "Al has been a great friend and partner to the NDA since coming on to the Corporate Roundtable. His dedication to the mission and forward thinking is an inspiration to us all."
