SYRACUSE, N.Y., Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Healthcare Group, the leading provider of financial solutions for healthcare professionals, was recently awarded second place in the medium-sized company category of the inaugural Healthiest Employers of Central New York. Healthiest Employers of CNY is an awards program that honors organizations dedicated to building a healthy workplace.

Bankers Healthcare Group was recently awarded second place in the inaugural Healthiest Employers of Central New York awards program honoring organizations that are dedicated to building a healthy workplace.

Healthiest Employer, a privately held technology firm that specializes in population health, conducts the awards in over 45 U.S. cities. Hundreds have been presented since 2009, but this year is the first time they've come to the CNY market.

Employers' wellness programs were evaluated using an online assessment that measures performance in six categories: leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions and reporting and analysis.
