Bank of the West Names George Stanfield as Division Executive for Southern California

LOS ANGELES, March 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of the West announced that George Stanfield has been named head of the Southern California Division, expanding his current region to include Southern California and Southern Nevada. In this role, Stanfield is responsible for consumer and business banking operations within Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, which includes over 150 branch locations and the bank's Pacific Rim Division.

Stanfield has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Bank of the West's predecessor in Albuquerque in 1985 and in 2001 was named head of the Southwest Division.  Stanfield is based out of the bank's corporate office in Los Angeles and leaves a legacy of deep philanthropic and community ties in the Southwest. He was recently inducted into the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management Hall of Fame. He is currently a board member with the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and the Central City Association.
