Bank Leumi USA Appoints Shmulik Arbel as Deputy CEO

NEW YORK, Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank Leumi USA today announced the appointment of Shmulik Arbel as Senior Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO.  Reporting to Itzhak Eyal, chief executive officer of Bank Leumi USA, Mr. Arbel is the head of the U.S. commercial lending and branch banking divisions as well as the Chief Lending Officer.

"Mr. Arbel comes to Bank Leumi USA with over 15 years of extensive professional experience and leadership in key management roles in Bank Leumi le-Israel's commercial banking division. In his transition here to the United States, we expect him to assist us with our business strategy," Mr. Eyal said.

Shmulik Arbel received his BA in Economics and MBA from Tel Aviv University.
