Galaxy fans, but brand Beckham has taken a severe blow this week with news that the England manager Fabio Capello will probably select him one last time as a tearful farewell, and then move on to selecting younger players. Yes younger, Beckham may seem like one of those guys who never really gets old(er), but in football terms, he's up there!

Beckham's huge strength has been that no matter how many times we've had to see him and his wife in pseudo bondage photo shoots or semi naked on the side of a building, he ensured that his football came first and with that – it was football at the highest level. No matter if it was played in Manchester, Madrid, Milan or internationally.
