BambooHR Announces BambooHR Summit 2018

The conference offers attendees the opportunity to gain insights from industry luminaries and professionals on improving company culture, employee engagement, performance, and other important areas of high HR impact. Attendees will be able to focus on enhancing the skills they need to elevate their work, excel in their careers and provide value for their organizations.

BambooHR Summit 2018 will be held at the Snowbird Ski Resort in Sandy, Utah, bringing together a unique blend of education, networking and training amidst a snowy backdrop. Following the three-day event, attendees will be better equipped to help make their organizations great places to work. Additionally, BambooHR clients can schedule hands-on, personal sessions with BambooHR representatives at the "Bamboo Bar" to ensure they are maximizing their experience with BambooHR. He worked with The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) to create a two-part course on reducing stress and inviting positivity and happiness into daily life. His TED talk, "The Happy Secret to Better Work," has over 17 million views.
• Susan David, Ph.D. – Psychologist and author of best-selling book "Emotional Agility." In addition to being an award-winning psychologist on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, Susan David also is the co-founder and co-director of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital. She has been featured in numerous leading publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post and TIME magazine. David has worked with the senior leadership of hundreds of major organizations, including the United Nations, Ernst & Young and the World Economic Forum.
• Nzinga Shaw – Chief diversity & inclusion officer of the Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena. Nzinga Shaw is the first person to hold the title of diversity & inclusion officer for the NBA. She was appointed the role to ensure that diversity and inclusion permeate all areas of the organization. Shaw also serves as a member of the organization's executive committee where she provides guidance to the leadership team to ensure they engender inclusivity in every facet of the business.
• Erik Wahl – Graffiti artist and motivational speaker. Pivoting from a corporate career into an artist and motivational speaker, Erik Wahl challenges his audience to search for their own creative genius within. In addition to his motivational speaking, he is also known for creating paintings of thinkers, leaders and cultural icons such as Michael Jordan, Steve Jobs and Bono during his presentations.

BambooHR will also announce the winners of the first-annual BambooHR Hero Awards at the conference. This awards program was created to recognize BambooHR customers who excel in various HR areas and features six different categories: Culture, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Reward and Recognition, Performance Management and High-Impact HR.

In addition, conference attendees will have the opportunity to join Rise Against Hunger in their life-saving efforts by packing meals for children in need.
