Baltimore Orioles and Visit Sarasota County Announce Spring Training Kids Contest Winner
SARASOTA, Fla., March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Baltimore Orioles, Orioles Kids Magazine and Visit Sarasota County (VSC) teamed to offer one child a chance to see the Orioles play a spring season game in Sarasota, Fla. The contest ran in the Orioles Kids Magazine, and 10 year-old Aiden Bradley from Perry Hall, Maryland was the winner.
"It was clear that Aiden loves the Orioles and is an avid reader of the Magazine," said Erin Duggan, director of brand for VSC. "Bradley completed the puzzles correctly on the opposite side of the entry form. This shows us he took the time to read the magazine from cover to cover."
Aiden and his father will receive tickets to the March 14th game, round-trip airfare for two to the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, and three nights' accommodations at the Comfort Suites Sarasota Hotel.
The contest generated nearly 50 entries and promotes the strong VSC and Baltimore Orioles partnership resulting in raising awareness of Sarasota County as a year-round destination on Florida's Gulf Coast.
